help.Directory service not available

I have two pc's. Each pc has a printer. I have them
networked and shared. I opened MS Word on my Dell then
when I went to print I opted to print on my other pc's
printer. I hit "control P" and the printer box opens. I
click to "find a printer" and get this message:
"The directory service is currently unavailable."

How can I correct this?
