HELP! DIW FREEZES

I have screwed up my database editor and need to make a
new connection using the database interface wizard. When
it starts building pages, it freezes, frontpage stops
responding. Is my database too large? Is there a way
around this????????

You need to explain what you are doing, how big is your database, which
should be a problem, what kind of connection, etc.
