Help does not work

When I click on help, the office assistant pops up. I
type in my "question" and click Search. It gives me help
options, but when I click on the link, nothing happens.
The actual help topics to not open.

Any thoughts?

Jason:

Yes there are times that help can do that. Normally running detect and
repair from the help menu will resolve the problem.

I had the same problem as you, I posted my question here and I got this
answer.

"If you're talking about the 'show me' and 'definition'
links in Office 2000 help, those were turned off by
the Office Service Pack to prevent a possible security
issue."
