I'm trying to draw a home floorplan.
What is the correct way to combine two overlapping rooms together to make a
room with non-rectangular shape? When I use the shape-union, I ended up with
the union of the walls, and the dimensions disappeared (only the arrows
remain), and all walls lose their shading.
If I use the space shapes to draw the rooms, then shape operations works as
expected. However, once I convert the space to walls, there seems to be no
way to go back. Surely there must be a way to edit the rooms after
converting to walls.
using visio 2007 beta2, although something this basic probably works the
same in earlier versions
