Help! emails lost! scanpst.exe! can't log-in!

OK- Here is my issue. I am trying to transfer emails from one computer to
another. I went through the process of closing Outlook - saving .pst to a
disk - saving to computer 2's desktop with read only off - ran scanpst.exe on
it - now I try to access through the open data option, and I see the file,
but when I double click on it - it opens into an empty Outlook.
Also - now on Computer 1 - when I try to open Outlook I get a message saying
it has been moved. Part of it opens and I can see that alot of the folders
that were there - are now gone. I copied and pasted - I didn't send anything
anywhere.
What can I do?

I think you are keeping some crucial information to this issue.

What did the scanpst.exe report tell you? If there were issues, and you told
it to fix it, then there is a backup of the original in the same folder
where the fixed one lives.

Computer 1 should still work unless you've done something else to it as
well. There is no way that Outlook will tell you that it cannot find the
file because it has been moved and then still open only part of it. If it
indeed has been moved, it cannot access it data and cannot show anything but
will simply close.
