Help File Disabled

I loaded a program (Certiprep from Certiport for MOAC Testing) on a laptop,
and I think it disabled Help in all of my Office 2007 programs.

I uninstalled the Certiprep Program and restarted several times but help is
still disabled.

How do I enable Help?

When I mouse over the Help Button, the tool tip is: "Your administrator has
disabled this command through group policy."

And then, of course, (I love this) it tells me to press F1 for help! BA HA
HA HA HA!!!

Any other suggestions since F1 obviously doesn't work?

I searched through group policy and couldn't figure out how to enable it.

Thanks if Advance!

Hi CLoud,

Have you run Diagnostics and/or reinstalled Office 2007?

Hi Bob! Stupid question - how do I run Diagnostics? (in XP) I should know
this but I don't.

I haven't tried reinstalling because I am using a Training Laptop from my
Company and don't have access to the Office Installation files because I am
working at a Client Site. And, I'm lazy and hoping I can get them back
without reinstalling. :) LOL.

Thanks, again!

Hi Chris,

Well, anyone who found a way to get paid to drink wine already knows something more valuable than how to fix MS Office :), but
basically:

In Word 2007 (for example)
Office Button=>Word Options=>Resources=>Diagnostics

In Word 2000/2002XP/2003
Help=>Detect and Repair

however, the diagnostics will want access to the product CDs if they find something wrong or if a feature needs to be enabled.
Office 2007 would be less likely to need the CDs due to what it stores on the hard drive during installation.

Thanks Bob and Bob!

I tried the Diagnostics thing, but it didn't fix it. I am going to have to
reinstall.
