Help getting MS Office clip art

B

Brenda Rueter

User has Windows XP that I believe has Active X controls turned off by
default and Word 2000. She is trying to download clip art from Microsoft's
web site. She is unable to allow Active X. Additionally an error comes up
"do you want o install and run "Microsoft Office Template and Media Control"
and she does not want to install this.

Is there another way to have access to these Microsoft Office clip art
images or is it mandatory to allow Microsoft to install this stuff?

Without the control your user will not be able to download the clipart. You could
enable it long enough to download and then disable the control. In Internet Explorer,
tools, manage add-ons.
