HELP -- Groove Files

Corporate IT had to recreate my XP profile. Renamed the old one
"username_old" and then moved all of the files to the new username folder.

I had two groove workspaces that were not shared. In the new profile when I
start groove I had to import my account. The shared workspaces came up as
Not on this computer. Those are returning.

Where are the two I had not shared?

Hi Zirkle,

The workspace files are reside in your user profile. You need to backup your
account and archieve your workspace before delete old user profile, and then
re-import these back into Groove to keep your data.

Based on the curret states, you can let other member in the workspace to
re-invite you back to get the workspace returning.

When you back up Groove account, the grv[archived file] file contains your
identity information, contacts list and workspaces list. However, it will not
back up contents in the workspaces. A workspace usually contains many
members, so we can get workspace from other members even if the workspace
content doen't exist on loical machine.

If we create workspaces which only contain ourselves, account back up will
not contain these workspaces because we can not get content in the workspace
from anywhere. If we need to back up these workspaces, we should back up them
as workspace archive file[gsa file].

For more information about Groove back up and restore, refer to the
following tech note:

Hope this helps.
