I have inherited an Access database with embedded ADOBE PDF documents.
I am only a little familiar with Access so I don't understand exactly
how these documents were done.
My problem is that with any new documents added to the file, I get an
error when I try to view them. The error is "can't save changes to
this bound OLE
object" I do not get this error with the older documents, the user
should not be able to change them. The new objects are PDF documents,
though not created the same way as the older documents. My Scanner
saves documents as PDF files, the older documents were created (I
believe) using Pagemaker.
It appears that Access is trying to allow modifications to the
document, and I do not need the user to make any modifications, nor
can they since they are PDF documents. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
