HELP - HELP Visio 2000 template background colour issue

C

Christopher

I have recently had to rebuild my PC due to virus. Previously I used Win Pro
2000 and now use Win XP. I had this issue before some years ago which was
resolved by making changes in the register. The background stencile and page
background colour is black. This makes the programme unuseable. How I can I
reset the background to its default colour green for stencile and light blue
for page backgound.

You should be able to delete the Colors key under the Visio registry key to
force a reset. In Visio 2003 the key is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Visio\Colors

It will be a little different for Visio 2000.

Thank you, Visio 2000 doesn't have a key listed for colours in the address
provided, I haven't been able to find the key listed else where so sadly I am
no nearer a solution.

Best wishes
Christopher
