Help - how do I customise (and keep customisation) of account view

Hi

I have customised an account view by inserting my own fields and this worked
fine, but when I move away from the view and then return to it, it
automatically reverts to the default view and doesn't retain my customised
view.

It looks like it should retain my customised view (because there is a
'restore default view' button in the customise section) so I thought it might
be a glitch with the installation, so I unistalled it and reinstalled it but
I'm having the same problem. I also installed the SP1 update from the
microsoft site in case that helped but it didn't.

Anyone know how I can resolve this?
