HELP! How do I manually uninstall office xp standard?

Situation:

3 pc's ordered with Office XP Pro, but were configured
preinstalled with Office XP Standard by mistake. We were
then sent Pro and we sent back the Standard copies.

Unfortunately Pro does NOT upgrade Standard. Can't
uninstall Standard conventionally without the cd's.

Can anyone help us out of this mess? Need to manually
uninstall Standard I guess. HOW?

Microsoft I hope you are reading this since you got us
into this mess with your install/uninstall limitations.

Hi Richard,

Generally Office XP can be uninstalled through the
control panel without the CDs if the installation
is still intact.

Did you already install the Professional Edition?
What messages are you getting when you try to uninstall
from Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel ?
