Help!! How to deploy a maro to another computer?

This is making me berserk.
I created a macro and placed it creating a new toolbar as an icon. I saved
the macro in a template (xxx.dot) but not in normal.dot. It is working fine
in my system. I want to send this template to my team here. When I send this,
the toolbar or template which I created is not getting displayed. The
procedure I followed in another computer is, (1)copying that file in Startup
folder, (2)changed the file locations (from tools>options) and (3)adding from
'templates and addins'. But neither the template nor the toolbar is appearing
/ displaying in the list of add-in template or toolbar list. It is working
100% in my system. But when I send that to another system and even after
checking all the above mentioned procedures, no display of toolbar or
template. My purpose is to click the icon so that the action can be performed
automatically.
How to deploy the macro with toolbar to another computer? Is there any other
other than above to follow to load this? Any change we have to do in the VB
code?

Early response is really really appreaciated. My team needs this tool
despeartely.

Please help!!!

Hi

Thanks for the link. I didnt understand why it is not still working as I
have followed the same. Copying it in Startup folder, checking the Startup
locaton. Can you tell me which "File locaiton" in the list I have to change
in the tools>options.

We have already discussed this issue in an earlier thread. From everything
you said then and now it still appears that, despite your assertions, you
have saved the custom toolbar in normal.dot and not in the template. If you
had saved it in the template (or copied it to the template) then it would
appear in any instance of Word that loads the template from its startup
folder.

The remaining questions are :

1. When the template is located in the Word startup folder (as defined at
Tools > Options > File Locations > Startup). Does it appear checked in the
list at tools > templates and add-ins, when you start Word?

2. With your template opened in Word, check the Organizer (ALT+F8 >
Organizer). With the template loaded in the left window and normal.dot
loaded in the right window, does the left window have the custom toolbar
listed? If not, is it in the right window i.e. still in normal.dot? If so,
copy it from right to left.

I know of no mechanism that will eliminate a toolbar correctly saved in a
document or template.
