Help-How to select multiple values using lookup function???

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me. Using MS Project 2007, I've created
value list via lookup and want to know how I can allow multipl
selection of this list. For example, I have a field called 'systems' an
i want to be able to select one or more of the systems in the looku
list. With the lookup function, it will only allow 1 selection. Is usin
the lookup function correct in this case, or is there another way I ca
do this?

Thanks in advanc

You can if you are using Project Server 2007 and create an enterprise custom
field which allows that. If you are using Project without Project Server then
the answer is no.

To do it, go to project web access, select server settings, enterprise
custom field definition, create a new field with a lookup table you have
already defined, under the custom attributes, select the lookup table, then
select the allow multiple values to be selected option.

Hello Floyd5,

Sorry, the lookup fields in Project are not multi-select fields. It
may be possible through enterprise fields using Project Server, I
don't know. If you are using Project server, re-post your question
to the Project Server newsgroup (microsoft.public.project.server)
If you're not using server, you'll either need to create
additional lookup fields for your additional systems or create
additional entries in the lookup fields to combine entries.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi
Thanks for the help. I'm not using MS Project Server so I'll just have
to work around it.
Thanks again.
