No. You need to restore the dictionary files and the spell checker program.
Might be time to wander down to the computer shop and see if you can find a
cheap version of Microsoft Office 2004
If you hunt around on eBay, you can find them down to about $20.00.
But DO take care
A legitimate software product arrives with a CD, in a
plastic case that has an orange sticker on the back or on the inside booklet
containing a 20-digit product licence key.
If you do not get the series of letters and numbers that make the product
key, what you have is completely without value (except to the Police...)

I have a very old version of Microsoft Word, Version 5. I had to trash and
re-install my hard drive and lost Word. My install disk is corrupted, but I
managed to get Word working again. However, Spellcheck is missing. Any way I
can get it back? Thanks for any help.
