Help I don't have the necessary permissions

S

Steve

I had this database working fine at work until I did something with the
security system and then I could not get into it and I got the message that I
don't have the necessary permissions to access it. I know that I need to
join the proper workgroup but I tried both of them and it still wouldn't let
me on it. So I brought the database home on a zip and tried it here and I
still can't access it. Does anyone know of any way to get into it? I have
tried everything I know how to but I can not get into to it. Is there any
program out there that will remove all security from a database?
Thank you in advance for any help
Steve

I'm having the same problem, I tried to open an old access 2.0 database that
I had laying around and I get the following:

"Error 3033, you do not have the necessary permissions to use the <name>
object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object
establish the appropriate permissions for you"

I've mande this database back in '96 (or near), but I can't open it in
access now, what can I do to workaround this?

I have the same problems with permissions and can't open an important
database. Did you find a solution? Please let me know if you have.
