help identify license

I have office:mac v.X in a clear dvd case with only a
product key and a CD SET number starting X09-xxxxx. No
license was received and I was wondering if there was an
easy way to identify the product.

your CD-key on the case is used when you fire up an Office v.X app for
the first time to generate a Product ID (which you can then find in the
"about app" box.

There's no easy way to tell from the CD key what the Product ID will be.
