Help Index Blank - Outlook 2003 and Office 2002

HELP!!!!

I recently installed Outlook 2003 in order to take
advantage of the offline caching feature (which is great,
by the way) - but ever since the 'Answer Wizard'
and 'Index' tabs of the help screens in all of the Office
2002 products I have installed are blank.

I have already made the changes in Q319956 - editing the
registry, etc - but the situation remains.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Microsoft has a hotfix for it. They gave me a hard time the first tim
I contacted them. Then I contacted them again and they gave me th
download no problem. BTW, I haven't seen the issue since I installe
SP1 to Outlook 2003.

Here was my email to Microsoft that got a response:
To summarize, I am experiencing the "there are no office assistan
character files present" error described in KB 840644. According t
that technote:
"This issue is fixed in the Office 2000 post-Service Pack 3 Hotfi
Package that is dated May 13, 2004. For additional information, clic
the following article number to view the article in the Microsof
Knowledge Base: 841530 Office 2000 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package
May 13, 2004"

Good luck!
