HELP Infopath Sumbit VIA email problems ARGHHHH

My form sends via email from A to B to C to D to E.

Most the time my form goes from A to C or A to D, but if B is involved it
all goes a bit Pete Tong (wrong/bad/broken/kapput etc).

B has to fill in 2 fields then clicks a button, this button submits via
rules and has 2 conditional rules
"If 'REPLACEMENT' is equal to '2'", Set 'PROGRESS' to 'CP', submit to D,
Sumbit to Database and close form OR
"If 'REPLACEMENT' is equal to '3'", Set 'PROGRESS' to 'CB', submit to C.
Submit to Database and close the form.

Where am i going wrong!!

I have had this problem for over a year on and off and am no nearer to
solving it. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!

Based on an SQL Datasource though i will mail you screenshots while i figure
a way to zip it up and send to you

Hey Adam
I got your emai, I've had a look at your order of rules and was thinking
that it may simply comedown to the order of processing
e,g.

you set a field value
submit to DC 1
then Submit to DC 2
then close the form.

Now when you update the fields value InfoPath will attemp to run the
validation against that field before allowing processing to continue.
Perhaps try moving the "set field" action to just before you close the form.
