Help inserting an adobe object into word 2000

Phillip Heslin

I am new to this and think this discussion group is the one I need, if not
let me know which one please. When I insert an Adobe Object into Microsoft
Word 2000 the image comes up blank. How can I fix this? The way I insert
the object is I go to Insert > Object > select Adobe Acrobat Document > and
click ok. The adobe document opens, I close it and then I dont see an image.
All I see is a white box with a black border and the resize handles on it.

Have you tried the "Create from File" tab instead?
Insert, Object, Create from File, check the "Display as icon" box, Browse,
select the file you wish to embed in your Word document. Remove the file path
info from the file name box, OK. The icon will now be in your document with
the file name on show instead of just "Adobe Acrobat".
Hope this helps, if not please come back.
