HELP!! installing trouble onto new computer

My computer died. I got a new computer. I am now trying
to install office2000 onto my new computer. I am
entering te PRODUCT KEY from the sticker on the back of
my CD but it keeps rejecting what I am entering. Without
this PRODUCT KEY, I can't install office2000 onto my new
computer.

Can anyone help me????
