I have three single digit feilds and would like to query
on only two of them however, the data is accross all three
fields.

Exsample:

Query for 34 would return:
340
304
430
034
043

Can someone please let me know how I can get this to work,
thanks!

Not sure what you want to retrieve? If you enter 34, what do want to see?And where do you want it to be shown? The example you've given puzzles me a bit.Will be glad to help if you give me more info.

Hi Pat,

There are four feilds:
Feild1 = Date
Feild2 = Single digit number
Feild3 = Single digit number
Feild4 = Single digit number

I am looking for patterns and the dates they occured.

If I enter 34, I would like to see all record sets with 34
in them, i.e. 340, 134, 348, 334, 354, 439, 034, 340 along
with the date it occured.

The 3 and 4 could be in feild2, feild3 or feild4.

The output can be to the screen or report.

Exsample:

Feild1 Feild2 Feild3 Feild4
4/8/2004 1 3 4
5/1/2003 3 4 0
4/1/2002 8 4 3
3/8/2002 4 4 3

Thanks Pat, please let me know if there is anything else I
can tell you.
Jenn
