HELP! Is there answer to this? Good, Bad, or Ugly?

I have a Word XP document with several MS Graph charts embedded within it.
The underlying datasheets for each of the graphs are linked to an excel
spreadsheet. The datasheets update no problem after F9 but the graphical
display of the charts still show the old data. If I select each graph and
double click to get the datasheet the graph updates. I would like to avoid
having to update the graph display manually, any suggestions?

Create the graph in Excel and Copy and Paste Special, Paste Link into Word.
When the Excel chart updates it will automatically update in Word.

Why use MS Graph at all if you're storing the data in Excel anyway? Get rid
of the in-between step of MS Graph and use Excel charts, even if it means
you need to create an in-between Excel file.
