Help. Long delays in Open & Close Dialog

Hi

It seems that it is only in MS Office (2003) that I experience long delays
in changing folders in the 'Look in' drop down or Combo field. This can be
trying when one wants to open or save a file to anything apart from the
default folder.

Other suppliers software Open & save dialogs behave perfectly, as does
Windows Explorer as I can negotiate through the folders rapidly with no
delays.

Have run 'Repair MS Office' with no change.

Any ideas?

Have over 1 GB Ram & am running Win XP.

Windows XP: Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
or in the Windows Start menu, left-click on Disconnect Network Drive,
and disconnect any mapped drives that are not currently available.

Windows Vista: Click on Start | Computer | Tools | Disconnect Network
Drive, and disconnected any mapped drives that are not currently available.
