You can use OWC in both the client and server
environments.

I don't know any site that uses OWC, but ask around the
forum and people might be able to help you out.

If your OWC page work on your computer then it should
also work on the server. The only thing that might be
different is binding to the data since it goes across
domain. You did not specified what type of data you're
binding to or if the server is installed with what Office
version. Please provide more information on your
computer and the server.
