I am using OUTLOOK 2003 on WINDOWS XP.
I had a CONTACT open, and used the keyboard SAVE command of CTL+S.
Instead, I believe I accidentally hit CTL+D (delete) because the CONTACT
disappeared from my screen, and when I looked in my CONTACT list, it was not
there.
I went to the DELETED ITEMS folder, and it was not there either.
I also checked the RECYCLE BIN with no luck.
I am not using a Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail account, so I do not have
access to the Recover Deleted Items tool for permanently deleted items.
I set up a test CONTACT file.
Used CTL+S.
And found it in the DELETED ITEMS file.
I don't know why the other one did not do the same.
And I am only presuming that I had hit the CTL+D on the first one that
disappeared since the D is right next to the S on the keyboard. But I guess
I could have hit CTL+ANOTHER KEY.
Any help on where this CONTACT file is and how to recover it?
I have some very important information on it.
Thanks.
