Help Me Please - Having problems with Frontpage crashing

I'm using FP 2002. I choose Web Site Templates and select One Page. Then I
open the index.htm and go to Insert Banner Page. As soon as I change the name
to something other than index.htm and click OK, FP crashes.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled FP several times and it still happens.

Is there some DLL file that's causing this problem? I haven't found anything
on MS's KB's about this problem.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download and run all functions of
the FP Cleaner utility, with the exception of the Change the "Open Last Web" Setting.

Then see what happens.

Steve,

I tried that tool by doing one at a time and then going through the steps to
reproduce the problem. All failed so I went through and did them all in the
same session. Same problem.
I thought for a moment that it had to do with the fact that we use folder
redirection so I tried using a local site instead. No joy.

I'm a realtively new user to Frontpage and so is the user I'm attempting to
help.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Open a new blank page. Click File> Save As and save it with the file name you want.
"Then" open it and insert your banner.
