help me proofread my emails by putting them in outbox instead of sending

I am notorious for sending un-proofread emails and I'd like to force
myself to look at it twice. Is there a way for my send button to just
send the mail to my Outbox for me to look at a second time before
really sending? I'm sick of regret!

Change your send/receive settings so that outbound messages aren't sent
automatically. You don't mention your version of Outlook, so it's hard to
give you specific advice.

You can create a rule that has the action to defer delivery by x minutes.
You can also configure Outlook not to automatically send message (just
retrieving) so messages won't be send until you press Send/Receive.

Just curious; why not reread the message before pressing Send?
