Help Me Sync My New Treo 650 with Entourage 2004 *Please*

Hi, I have tried reading countless advice posts here and on Treo sites
but I have yet to find an answer to my problem. I went through tech
support when I first got my palm zire 21 and tried syncing with
entourage. I learned about the Entourage conduits and got it working.
However I was disappointed to discover many bugs between Entourage and
my Zire.

Anyway, 2 years later I've upgraded to the 650 and once again
reinstalled the Entourage conduit (about 10 times in the last 2 days!!)
and it still won't show up in the Conduit/Hot Sync manager. What is
going on here?

I've partially synced up but unless I can get this working in the next
few days I'm returning the 650 and may go back to PAPER! I can't seem
to get Entourage to ever work the way I believe it should and now the
650 won't sync up properly either.

Help!

Try Missing Sync for Palm OS. It's a great program with good support
and actually works. I use it and never have any problems syncing with
Entourage.

For now, The Missing Sync is the only solution (and it is not a perfect
one).

With it, you can use either the Microsoft-supplied Entourage conduit, or use
the Mark/Space Contacts, Events, and Tasks conduits. The latter conduits
look at calendars in Sync Services (including Entourage) to get data. The
advantage with this is that if you use iCal for another reason (for example,
I think Quicken and some other applications create their own calendars in
iCal), you can sync those items into your Treo. However, I¹ve still found
some quirks with them and syncing (especially with Tasks). These conduits
also support the Location field in Entourage Calendar entries (which the MS
one does not).

I¹ve still found some quirks I¹ve reported to Markspace. I expect that
updated versions of these conduits will provide better support. For example,
priority of Tasks don¹t always map exactly to the Palm OS. And Entourage
Categories are not supported. If you want to be completely safe, use the
Entourage conduit. I use the Mark/Space conduits, but I usually have the Mac
overwrite the handheld.

If the conduit worked, we wouldn't be looking for answers in Groups,
Scott!
