help me

I am done writting a paper and I am suppose to put page
numbers on it. When i go to either file and then page
setup or insert then page numbers, nothing happens. We
are suppose to have them on the top right side. I don't
know what i am doing.

Use Insert | Page Numbers, select "Top of page (Header)" and "Right," then
OK.

Go to View/Headers and Footers
choose footers and in the center section press <ctrl>b.
This will put the page number on the pages for you.

Try it through header and footer, under 'view ' in the
main menu.

HI,

Page numbers work best in Headers and Footers.

Select View menu, Headers and Footers. If a tool bar does
not appear, put your cursor at the right margin with a
right tab setting, select Insert menu, page number, select
the page number style you desire.
