Help: Microsoft Query freezes

Hi all,
I'm using a worksheet that contains some pivot tables linked to an external
data source (db Access).
When I launch my worksheet from Access mask using ShellAndWait command,
Excel freezes and I get the message: "Waiting for data to be returned from
Microsoft Query".
I'm using Office 2000 sp3.
(Using Office XP sp3 works file all)

Could anyone give me some advice?
