I had the trial version of Office 2003, and then purchased it at the end of
the trial period (Student and Teacher Edition). I installed (converted) to
the permanent version. Then I had to "restore" my machine. Now when I try
to use Ofc 2003, it tells me that my trial version has expired and gives me
the "convert" option. After I click on the "convert" button, I get the
message, "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch
package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor
to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." When I try to
uninstall the software (so I can reinstall), I get the same message. I am
not computer savvy enough to figure out what to do next to make this software
work. I have my License Key for the software (purchased for $149), but
cannot use it. Please help!
