Problem description in the format Gantt chart:
1/ If I choose as major time scale "years" and as minor
time scale "months", it is impossible to draw vertical
lines between months.
2/ If the task name is reformatted (for example bold or
italic), then the line does not break automatically
anymore and the text can not be fully seen anymore.

Hi hows it going....

Right click on the timeline in ganttbarchart and choose
timescale..

In the timescale tab both major and minor date settings
have a box called "tick lines" This is your seperator you
are looking for!!!!

As for point two,...

Goto where the header stops and the next header starts.
You will notice that the white cross changes to a thin
black vertical line with an arrow pointing left & right
from it. Double left click to auto adjust, or press left
mouse button down and whilst holding drag to the left or
right until you have the desired width!!!

Format/Gridlines.../ select Minor Columns, and on the right, select a line
type and colour.
