Help - my accounts (under tools) and address book disappeared!

My Outlook 2000 started slowing down a couple weeks ago - takes about 1
minute to open a new email, forward, or reply. Then yesterday I opened it
and my address book is gone (contacts are still there) and under "Tools" the
"Accounts" are gone. Any suggestions?

You are using the IMO version of Outlook 2000 which was completely abandoned
almost as soon as it was released because it was so awful. It is not
compatible with current operating systems and it provided no way to repair
the Outlook profile when it became corrupt (which yours has). Attempts to
use this dinosaur will be difficult if not impossible. Must you? Your best
bet would be to backup your Outlook data ASAP and update to an Outlook
version that works.
