Brooke

Can anyone help me! I'm using Word 2002 and my Macros
were there 15 minutes ago and now they are gone! What

G'day "Brooke" <[email protected]>,

Whereabouts did you store these macros?

Hi Brooke,

Have you changed the user template path (Tools > Options > File Locations
tab)?

Cheers!

G'day Word Heretic <[email protected]>,

have you searched for and opened all instances of normal.dot on your
machine?

Not an expert, but;

Word didn't happen to go "Boom" (or even get "strange") in that 15
minutes, did it?

I'm thinking that if there was a problem then Word may have re-created
Normal.Dot.

There are a number of reasons for this (which I cannot list!) but it's
the main reason for not storing Macro's in your Normal template (I
learned the hard way!).

Hope I'm wrong about your situation.

Hi Jane,

In any template you care to create and store in the start-up folder (Tools >
Options > File Locations tab).
