Help Needed Filling Out Forms

I have a form that is to be printed out as a blank then completed with
a typewriter. I would like to use word to complete it and then print
out a finished copy. When I lock the form after filling it out, only
the blank prints not the info that I have added. What am I doing
wrong/ Where do I do to find out how to use scasnned in forms and the
like. Thanks.

There's a pretty good set of tutorials (and links to other information)
on the word.mvps.org website; you should probably start with that.

If you're using form fields (it's not clear from your message), then the
form should be locked BEFORE you fill it out.

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, there is a "Print data only for forms"
option. Clear this, and the whole thing should print (you'll need to do this
with the form unprotected).
