I received a notification that my C drive was almost full, despite only using 2GB out of 180GB. It turns out that my cache folder inexplicably ballooned to over 120GB.
Although I deleted it, it reappeared within 10 minutes. I don't use OneNote online or with OneDrive; it's stored locally on my notebook. And I'm not someone who hoards excessive amounts of data. If I examine the pages themselves, they probably only occupy a few gigabytes, nowhere near 120GB.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution? I'd greatly appreciate any assistance.
This sudden increase in cache size isn't something that accumulated over years of use. It happened overnight, from yesterday to today, with no changes to settings or usage. My laptop has slowed down due to the lack of storage.
