Hello,
I am trying to make a spread sheet to hold information on
swaps (a scrapbook
thing) and most of the fields hold alot of information,
text. I want to
have a row/column for the 'key' where it says the label of
the info. I have
been going between a spreadsheet or a database, and I
think spreadsheet is
best because I will be printing this out. I would like to
have a column
that prints everytime a new page is printed, it doesn't
have to - but if
there is a trick to make this happen, that's great.
I know this is a horrible explanation, but I will try to
at least tell you
what I want as a final result - it might be really easy to
do, I might just
be slow!!

Ok, here goes- I need a 'chart' to keep up with the
numerous swaps I am in.
There will be quite a few fields, many of long length -
description, etc.the
fields need are as follows
swap name
due date
hostess name
hostess e-mail
hostess address
Joined Group/s
Make (big field - will have the description of swap items
to make) ex - 10
handmade photo borders theme Halloween etc. etc
receive (also big, will list the things receiving from
swap - photo border,
tag, paper, eyelet, etc. etc.)
postage requirement - ex. SASE with $2 extra postage
steps - this is just a title -- blank row - for the 'sub'
fields below
buy needed supplies (will just have a check or the word
done when complete -
same for the rest of the fields)
receive needed supplies
get idea for what to make
make item/s
pack items
hostess gift
ship off
receive swap back
basically, I need help as to what is the best way to do
this? I have tried
and tried, but I cant get it formatted right. I would
like to be able to
sort the swaps by due date, if possible. And also be able
to print them out.
I know this is long, but I would love to get assistance in
