Help Needed, Send email error...

--Emails with Attachments over 1MB won't send. Sit in Outbox and finally
cancel out with this message:

Task 'pop.earthlink.net - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If
you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'

--Recipient will often receive original email, corrupted, 10-20 times. BIG
nuisance.

--I run Trend Micro with antivirus and spyware...any connection? Please
help. Thanks!

Do you have Trend set to actively scan incoming and outgoing mail? Turn that
component off and see if send/receive improves. This won't compromise your
security, your real time scanner will catch everything that it's been updated
for.
