Help needed with programming an ADD TO FAVOURITES link

Hi all,
Can anyone point me in the direction of a piece of code or tutorial on
how to program a link on a website which when clicked will add that
page to the Favourites list.

I would prefer to use ASP/VBSCRIPT rather than Javascript.
