I am getting the following error message when trying to do an office
repair. When I go to the folder described and look for the file
PSS10R.CHM it is not there.
The message from the repair process is:
Error 1406> Setup cannot write the value to the registry key
\SketchObj.SketchInk. Verify that you have sufficient permissions to
access the registry or contact Microsoft Product Support services
(PSS) for assistance. For information about how to contact PSS,
see C:\Users\Paul|\appData\Local\Temp\Setup000010e8\PSS10R.CHM. After
that there are three choices abort, retry, Ignore.
If you click ignore the same message comes up a total of three times.
I tried to follow the note on the Microsoft site for error 1406 but it
does not explicitly state the steps for off2007.
Any help appreciated.
