Help! New to Word from WordPerfect

B

I'm switching from 20 years of WordPerfect to MSOffice2002. Have taken one slass for Office, but didn't seem to cover all the little things I run into daily when doing documents. #1 Is there a place anywhere that discusses/lists tasks from one program to the other. For example, in WP I used F3 to Save As, now I can use F12 in Word. I just need to make the switches. #2 In particular I'm having difficulty with numbered lists. I have four different main headings and would like for seperately numbered outline lists. I don't seem to be able to do this smoothly without continued numbering.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

I don't know about Office 2002, but with my Word 2003, there is a
special document called "Welcome to Help for WordPerfect Users"
available on the Help menu. CHeck it out.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

1) There is no such thing as "Office 2002".

2) Yes. It's called the help. May I suggest you use it?

Rob, Thank you. I have seen that document and am currently using it, but that's all I've really come across. Just wondering if there is something more extensive. I'll just keep looking. Thanks.

My mistake. 2000. And, yes, thank you, I'm familiar with that feature. Regards.

Your best bet is probably to try to forget about Word Perfect and its
differences. Instead, focus on reading Word's "help" and possibly a
good book about Word and learn how to do what it is you want to do. As
long as your head is back in the past, you'll likely always have issues.
Word Perfect is not Word.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
