HELP..... NOT ABLE TO OPEN UP WORDS....

Hi all,

I am using office 2004 and my comp is power book G4. I am currently
facing some problems with words. I am not able to open words at
all.This problem occur after i downloaded fonts from the website. I
have encounter the same problem before but after replacing the fonts it
is able to work but this time it is not able. When i replace the fonts
i am only able to open powerpoint & excel. Words n entourage is not
able to open, it will always have a error report[which it will hang].
Therefore i gotta force quit both programs. Sometimes words will load
but it stops at "PDFLib" & sometimes it doesn't load at all.

I have tried all sort of method provided on the net but still not able
to make words work.Do you have any solution so that i can solve the
problem?

Hi Joden,

Did you try removing the fonts you added? Install them one and at a time
and see if you can figure out which is the problem. But it may not be
fonts, which I would expect to affect PowerPoint more than Entourage.

Otherwise, haven't a clue--all I can do is point you to the standard fixes:

A tip that isn't listed--see if the programs launch in a different user
account. It may be easier to just switch accounts than track down the
problem.

hi,

i have tried creating another account in my laptop but still not able
to open words frm that account. I have also tried all the method
mention in the links but still not able to make it work. Do you have
any other ways to solve this problem?
