Hi, Can anyone help?
I am trying to generate formulas that work on a large
excel sheet full of dates. I am calculated the average
number of days for items to be completed. I have the =IF
(ISBLANK) statement.. so if a cell is blank the answer
would not be posted (and would be #value anyway). But the
problem I ran into is some entries are not dates but one
of the following three: ND, NA or N/A (for the data was
not done/missed). What I am looking for is to say
something like (where the answer is posted). Ifblank
leave blank, IF N/A, NA, ND then "" (leave blank as
well) Thanks for anyones help! I tried searching for
this on different websites (including MVP.org) but since I
am a novice learner of excel.. I dont even know what this
is called? (worksheet function???? )
