HELP on LABELS

L

Lisa

I can not find where you can choose to actually view the
labels and how they will print. I know that there is like
a ghost version, and then where you can actually see how
the labels will turn out. NEED ASSISTANCE or DIRECTIONS
ASAP PLEASE! Thank you!

If you press the New Document button in the Labels dialog, you get a full
sheet of labels. They're set up as a table, so be sure you have table
gridlines displayed so you can see the boundaries. When you enter text in
these labels, you can use Print Preview just as you would with any other
document. If you're merging to labels and use Merge to New Document, you can
also see them in Print Layout view and Print Preview. If you're just using
the Labels dialog to print a single label or a full sheet of the same label,
you don't get any preview. I don't consider that very satisfactory, so I
always use New Document (if you do this after typing in the text, then it
will already be there in the document).
