Eddy Stan

Hi all,
I am writing some policy & procedure and i want to give some tips on some
words in the document, which should be visible when the mouse is kept over
those words.
for example: handling of damages need to time bound. here i want to display
in small yellow/red box "damages must be booked with clients debit notes"

how can i do that.

can this box message be connected to some toggle button like show/hide in
the beginning, so that it can be seen or hidden thro'out the document reading
time.

thanks to wizard in advance

Hi Eddy,

For the words over which you want to display the 'hover' text, you could bookmark the text then use a hyperlink (via
Insert|Hyperlink). Simply add the display text and point the hyperlink to the bookmark. By hyperlinking the text to itself, the user
won't be taken somewhere else if they click on it. You can change the hyperlink character formatting if you don't like the default.

Hi
In the guidance, i see the "ctrl + click to follow the link" even without
giving.

I need just my tip as we get in this screen, for example, "Enter your
message", when the cursor is some where in this box.
I need, for example:
The stock claims are always accepted when a document form35 is duly filled
and submitted.
In the above sentense, when cursor is on:
"claims" - the message must be - "shortage, damages & leakage" and for
"form35" - "as per GT Act clause VI (a)"

Is this possible ?? please help

Hi Eddy,

The 'hint text' needs to be added as a 'Screen Tip' when creating the hyperlink. You can still add the text, though. If you select
the 'claims' word and press Shift-F9, you should see something like '{HYPERLINK \l "Claims"}'. Simply add the help text, thus
'{HYPERLINK \l "Claims" \o "\"shortage, damages & leakage\" and for \"form35\" - \"as per GT Act clause VI (a) \""}'. Note the
backslashes before each of the quote characters embedded in your display text.
