Thank you for responding, JoAnn: XP Tablet (or at least the IBM X41
flavor
of it) does have a virtual CD-ROM, but using it is an involved process,
and
it does not seem to work well with recent Microsoft installers.
I will try contacting MS Support on Monday, but I suspect you are correct.
Any additional advice would be welcome.
