Hi,
I use outlook 2000 via LAN to connect to my company Exchange 2003 server.
last night I took my laptop home and configured the internet explorer to
connect to the internet via a cable modem and my company VPN. in the IE >
internet options > connection settings it had the cable modem as a default
connection and the VPN as a secondary connection.it was configured to
"always dial my default connection".
I opened Outlook at home and when the Send/Receive box came up I get the
following message in the error tab:
"task 'Microsoft Exchange server' reported error (0x80040803) 'unknown error
0x80040803': "
When connecting the laptop in the office, I noticed the IE was working
offline (probably because of the cable connection, so I marked the "dial
whenever a network connection is not present" in the connection tab.
after that IE came up and connected directly.
Outlook is receiving emails but the error message still comes up.
any ideas ?
