Chris

Please help, It seems that nine times out of ten my
computer locks up and reboots when sending email through
outlook 2003. I am running windows 2000 pro with all of
the service updates and packs, and office 2003 with all of
the updates and sp1. I have a barton 3200, a soyo kt400
mainboard, an ati radeon 9500 pro, and a sb audigy gamer.
I have norton 2004 installed with all of the email
scanning disabled. I have no clue what is doing this. It
seems right as it is locking up the graphics on the line i
am typing on get a little blurry or garbled seconds before
it freezes. I've updated video drivers just incase, same
thing. Even tried different memory. Im stumped, please
help me!

email me at (e-mail address removed) with any suggestions
or comments, im not sure if ill be sucessful finding this
newsgroup again. :(

Thanks so much for your help!

It sounds like you have a hardware problem since nothing I have seen would
cause Outlook to reboot your computer. Outlook is rather hard on resources
so ensure that your memory modules are okay. Otherwise, I would look at
troubleshooting your hardware.

Before doing any of the above, I would try a new mail profile or a detect
and repair of Office.
