help! outlook keeps crashing

Hi I am using outlook 2003, and in the last day or so it keeps freezing /
crashing! I think it is related to images as my system is set to not download
images unless i right click on them and allow them to download.
if i do this the window freezes and i have to end program, outlook then
generates the normal report window and then re starts outlook???

I have tried all sorts to fix it, and looked through the web but i can't
find any solutions. please help.

Thanks for your sugestion, I have just tried this at it didn't work.
is it worth re installing oulook? and if i do will i loose my files and
settings?

Hi vince

basically any email that has a picture / logo when i right click on the
content to allow it to download, outlook just freezes up. if i set the
security to automatically down load the images with the email it crashes as
soon as i click on the mail.
I don't know what has happened as nothing has changed on my pc, I use norton
antivirus and firewall and i don't seem to have any viruses etc..

the report that is complied to microsoft is a huge dump of letters and
numbers.

I'm not sure on what to do!

Hooray! I fixed it.

I found out it was only html messages that caused the problem, I have been
using firefox as my main browser and had just got the latest version, on top
of that in a windows update the latest explorer was installed.
i uninstalled fire fox, then downloaded the latest explorer again, and it
was fixed!
